CSI JULY

Presenting CASE 207:

I used all the colors.. two shades of blue, a little brown, white paint and a little light gray in the anchors.
My evidence: diagonal stripes, twine, a postcard, and some nautical elements.
I also journaled on a postcard.

Bonus...I added that Jolee's Boutique bottle of sand, which has been collecting dust in my stash since the girl pictured was a toddler!! I love when I can use my old stuff appropriately.

Country Scene at Artastic

http://artasticchallengeblog.blogspot.com.au/

This month at artastic, there's some country going on. Here is the chosen artwork:

And here is my artwork!!

Not only  did I create a barn, I was IN a barn when I did it!! Yep, a local women rented a lovely barn out for the day for us ladies to scrapbook in.
I have only ONE photo of this antiquing venture because my SD card was defective. I still wanted to capture the story, though. I had great fun creating a paper farm scene. I even used some decades-old sticker leftovers, the little duck and mouse and sunflowers.

Sweet butterflies at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge

I am not sure I have ever done a challege at Freaky.
July's simple challenge was to use butterflies...

I played around with my gelatos and stamping to make the diamond lines. ...Here is one of my daughter's senior photos from last year.

Priceless times at 123 Challenge

This month over at 123 Challenge challenges us to use pastel colors, the word PRICELESS, and glitter.

I inheretited a box of items from my cousin's estate recently, including many old photos of my kids. Some of these photos I have never seen, even though my cousin and I were very close. These photos are of my daughters playing dress-up, a favorite activity of theirs when we'd visit.

I played around with paint. It turned out a bit of a mess, but that's what happens when you experiment sometimes! I used pastels, and covered my title with some pink glitter.

TFL!
