Long time, still cooking

Long time since my last post. I have been having mucho problems with my computer. You know what the culprit was? Dust. I took apart the tower and used air spray and sprayed the crap out of it. Tons of dust flew everywhere. And my computer has worked ever since. Marvelous!!

I wanted to share this weeks cooking adventures WITH pictures, but my camera seems to have dissappeared. Lovely. Love how my children take off with my 800 dollar camera. Well, anyway, I was in a summer mood this week. I made ...

a new potato salad recipe that was more healthy. Nobody cared for it. It's okay. I won't make it again.

corn salad. It was okay. I would rather have plain corn.

citurs salmon...not great. But the salmon was not the freshest.

rice salad...kids did not like. It's okay.

broiled steak....the steak was easy, and it's a hit. I will make this easy steak again. I don't cook steak often, but this was delicious and simple.

BROILED STEAK

Heat broiler with rack in top position. Place steaks on baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Broil till done. Let rest about five minutes before cutting.

And the perfect sides?? Texas toast and watermelon slices. Perfect summer meal.

Tomorrow i am cooking more fish, and a canteloupe salad. I am very excited about that salad. I love summer produce.
